A six-week journey into the living experience of Tantra.

FROM PHILOSOPHY TO EMBODIMENT

Edition: The Path of the Senses

What happens when philosophy moves beyond the pages and becomes something we can feel, explore and experience?

Building upon the foundations of Classical Tantra, this six-week journey invites you to move from intellectual understanding toward direct experience.

Rooted in the perspectives of non-dual Śaivism and selected Śākta traditions, and woven together with contemporary somatic and embodied explorations, we will investigate the body, senses, breath, subtle awareness and mind as doorways into our relationship with ourselves and the world around us.

Less time absorbing information. More time experiencing, questioning, moving, listening and developing a living practice.

WHAT WE’LL EXPLORE

Six weeks. Six doorways into experience.

Moving from the tangible to the subtle, each week invites us to explore a different dimension of our human experience through Tantric philosophy, somatic inquiry and direct practice.

THE BODY AS A DOORWAY
Entering through sensation

Returning to the body as our first field of exploration. Through touch, movement and sensory awareness, we begin to experience the body not simply as something we inhabit, but as an expression of consciousness itself.

THE INNER LANDSCAPE
Three centers of awareness

Turning our attention inward through the head, heart and belly. An exploration of how awareness, sensation and perception shift as we move between different centers of our lived experience.

THE BODY IN ACTION
From perception to participation

Exploring the organs of action through the Tantric map of the tattvas. Voice, movement, touch and expression become pathways to investigate how we engage with and participate in the world around us.

BREATH
Breathing the inner + outer landscape

Breath is one of our most immediate experiences of being alive, a continuous exchange between our inner landscape and the world around us. To feel breath not simply as something we do, but as a living, sensory experience of being here.

FEEDING THE GODDESS
The senses as an offering

What happens when sensory experience becomes an act of devotion? Drawing inspiration from Śākta and non-dual Śaiva perspectives, we explore sound, touch, taste, sight and smell as expressions of Śakti and conscious offerings to the living experience of being.

THE ART OF RECOGNITION
From experience to awareness

Bringing our explorations together through the non-dual perspective of Recognition (Pratyabhijñā). Turning toward the mind, thought and awareness itself, we investigate the relationship between the one who experiences and the experience unfolding.

Each gathering includes guided embodied practices, a short philosophical teaching, personal contemplation and space for integration. Weekly explorations will help bring the teachings beyond our Wednesday evenings and into everyday life.

What to expect

Each Monday, we'll gather for two hours of guided exploration combining short philosophical teachings with embodied practices, meditation, breathwork, movement, sensory inquiries and personal reflection.

This is not another lecture-based course. Each session creates space to experience the teachings directly, ask questions and gradually establish your own relationship with Tantric sādhanā.

Between gatherings, you'll receive home exploration to help bring the practices into your everyday life.

Open to all genders. Previous participation in Introduction to Classical Tantra is recommended, but not mandatory. Some familiarity with contemplative, philosophical or embodied practices is encouraged.

For me, tantra didn’t add something new to my life, it gave language and structure to experiences I had already been sensing but couldn’t quite explain. It helped me understand my sensitivity to nature, to relationships and to creativity instead of feeling scattered by it. Rather than changing who I was, it offered direction within a freedom I already carried. Over time, it became less a belief system and more a way of meeting life, moment by moment, with awareness and participation.
