Introduction to Classical Tantra

This course is an introduction to classical Tantra, a living philosophy that invites us to experience life directly through awareness, sensation and attention. Rather than escaping the world, these teachings help us understand our inner experience and our everyday life as part of the same process. Through tantric practices, reflection and guided exploration, you will begin learning how to relate differently to your body, your energy and your daily experiences.

Many of us are functioning well in our lives, we work, care for others, stay active and try to take care of ourselves. Yet we often find ourselves thinking about life more than actually feeling it.

We overthink.
We feel disconnected from our bodies.
We move through our days on autopilot.
We sense there is more depth available to life, but we don’t quite know how to access it consistently.

Classical Tantra is not about beliefs, sexuality, or escaping the world. It’s a path that moves us from thinking about life to participating in it.

Rather than trying to transcend the body, tantra uses:

  • sensation

  • breath

  • attention

  • movement

  • awareness

To help you see that your reactions, relationships, sensations and emotions become material for understanding ourselves.

Through these four weeks, you will begin to:

• Understand key ideas from ancient tantric philosophy and recognize how they apply to modern daily life


• Explore how attention and awareness directly influence mood, energy and reactions


• Experience meditation as awareness and presence, not as trying to empty or control the mind


• Move from constant mental processing into direct experience in conversations, work, creativity and relationships


•  Dive into the the teachings of inner “fire” (motivation, direction, initiative) and how to work with it consciously

For me, tantra didn’t add something new to my life, it gave language and structure to experiences I had already been sensing but couldn’t quite explain. It helped me understand my sensitivity to nature, to relationships and to creativity instead of feeling scattered by it. Rather than changing who I was, it offered direction within a freedom I already carried. Over time, it became less a belief system and more a way of meeting life, moment by moment, with awareness and participation.

HOW THIS COURSE WORKS

We will meet live online once a week for 1h45.

Each session includes:

  • a clear and accessible philosophy teaching

  • guided tantric practices (breath, awareness, movement)

  • integration and open discussion

All sessions are recorded.
Replays will be available for 1 month.

Week 2: The body as a gateway — the pathway of the senses

Week 3: Energy — understanding patterns & nature’s cycles

Week 4: Inner fire — connecting to direction, purpose and clear action
